SMART NATION 2021
Happy 2021! We conducted a Roblox Studio workshop in partnership with the Prime Minister’s office. Students in Singapore coded and created a lightsaber!
3D MODELLING & ANIMATION
Due to popular demand, we launched our first 3D computer graphics course with Blender! Models created are compatible with Roblox, Unity, and the Unreal Engine.
ANNOUNCING LOVES BACK
We’ve launched our online social tech platform, Empire Code Loves Back, a teaching and learning community which focuses on Skills Development, Mental Wellbeing and Sustainable Goals. Most importantly, it’s meant to support our friends with disabilities too.
ROBLOX DEVELOPMENT COMPETITION
Congratulations to our champion Angeline Levar who walked away with SGD1,000 in cash in our 2020 competition. A big thank you to all our participants who were a part of making this competition a success! Stay tuned for our 2021 competition announcement!
SMART NATION 2020
An initiative by the Prime Minister’s Office, we rolled out an online session on Minecraft coding using Microsoft’s Minecraft: Education Edition. Singapore students aged 8 to 12 learnt computer science and game development fundamentals on the day.

Big congratulations to our Empire Code team Green Climate for winning the First LEGO League 2020 Competition: Coorperative Model Award! So proud of our team for coming up with their impressive LEGO model while building true-lasting friendships in the process. Hip Hip Hurray!
Empire Code, Microsoft & ASEAN Foundation are inviting ASEAN youth to join the 2020 Data Science competition. Let’s use data science to understand and promote ASEAN culture and heritage. Hurry up, submissions close 11 September 2020.

How do online classes work? Online classes provide an alternative for children to learn computer science in the comfort of their home. Watch this video for our 6 year old’s perspective of an online training.

EMPIRE CODE GETS FILMED
We went into film production to train teachers and students across 180 primary schools in Singapore, all thanks to Microsoft! With a global pandemic amongst us, the importance of online trainings have escalated.
